ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Differences between the sound of the Splashing
Showertm Sound Fountain provided with flat or
recessable top baffle:
- Flat Top Baffle:
The sound can be increased or decreased by raising or lowering the flat baffle.
The character of the sound does not appreciably change with location of the top
baffle. When the baffle is closed, the fountain has minimal sound.
- Recessable Top
Baffle: The baffle can be lowered into the fountain leaving an annular gap
between it and the inner walls of the fountain. This affects both the loudness
and the spectrum of the fountain sound. As with the flat top baffle, the
recessable baffle can also be raised above the top of the fountain. The
recessable baffle allows you more flexibility in tailoring the fountain sound
to your specific desires.
The sound of the Splashing Showertm Sound Fountain can be modified in several additional
ways:
- To increase or decrease
the overall sound level, vary the water level in the fountain vessel or adjust
pump output.
- To increase the overall
overall "brightness" of the sound, remove some of the polypropylene balls from
the fountain. For the "brightest" sound remove all of the balls. For the
softest sound, use all the poly-balls and keep the water level in the fountain
close to the underside of the bubble sound chamber.
